Meet Our Singers!

Drew Burke
Director
A local of Niagara County, Drew is the Director of Choral Activities for grades 3-12 at
Barker Central School. Drew has enjoyed directing the Lock City Sound since 2014 and is always excited for opportunities to serve as a guest conductor/clinician for community and school groups. Drew is involved in numerous other musical and non-musical school and community activities, but most enjoys dedicating available time to his church community.
In 2008 he graduated from Houghton College with a BMus in music education and in 2010 graduated from the University of Buffalo with a MMus in voice performance.
Drew now lives in the City of Lockport with his wife Molly; a trauma informed yoga
instructor, and his piano playing basset hound, Sherman. Together, they are lifelong
learners and avid travelers always ready for whatever adventure comes next.

Debbie Hutter
Accompanist
Debbie Hutter graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a double major in music education and piano, and a minor in saxophone. She continued her education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, receiving her Master's degree in elementary education.
She teaches 4th grade Elementary Band throughout the Lockport City School District, and has been teaching in Lockport since 1992. She has also served as the treasurer of the Niagara County Music Educators Association since 2001,
and her colleagues in the county chose her for the BPO Music Educator of the Year in 2024.
In addition to accompanying the Lock City Sound, she is the director of music at her church, responsible for directing the adult and children’s choir, and playing the organ and piano for weekly services. She has been seen in many local school and community theater pit orchestras, and occasionally accompanies students for all-state and college auditions. When she is not sitting on a piano bench Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son-in-law, and grandson.
